Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the website or services of DisasterDesk, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing our website or registering for any of our training classes, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Class Attendance & Punctuality
Students are expected to arrive on time. Classes begin promptly at the scheduled start time.
Late arrivals may not be admitted due to course timing requirements and instructor discretion. Students who arrive late may be required to reschedule and may forfeit course fees.
No-shows are non-refundable.
Refunds, Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time may be eligible for a partial refund or a one-time reschedule.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before class are not eligible for a refund.
Students may reschedule one time if notice is provided at least 48 hours in advance.
DisasterDesk reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to low enrollment, instructor availability, weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. In these cases, students will be offered a reschedule or full refund.
Certification Requirements
To receive certification, students must:
Attend and actively participate in the course
Successfully complete all required skills evaluations
Pass any required written examinations
Meet all requirements established by the certifying organization
Certification cards will only be issued to students who successfully complete all course requirements.
DisasterDesk cannot guarantee certification if course standards are not met.
Course Materials
If included with registration, printed course manuals will be available for pickup at the beginning of class unless otherwise specified.
eBook materials are typically delivered electronically within 24 hours of purchase or registration.
Course materials are copyrighted and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without written permission.
Health and Safety
Students who are feeling ill are asked not to attend class. Please contact DisasterDesk prior to the course to discuss rescheduling options.
Training equipment is cleaned and maintained in accordance with applicable CDC recommendations and certifying agency standards.
Certain courses may involve physical activity, lifting, kneeling, or hands-on participation. Students voluntarily participate and assume any associated risks.
Code of Conduct
DisasterDesk is committed to maintaining a professional and respectful learning environment.
Disruptive, unsafe, inappropriate, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated. Instructors reserve the right to dismiss any student whose conduct interferes with the learning environment or safety of others.
Dismissed students will not receive a refund.
American Heart Association Disclaimer
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
Third-Party Organizations
DisasterDesk may provide training aligned with third-party certifying agencies. Those organizations maintain their own standards, certification policies, and procedures, which may change without notice.
DisasterDesk is independently owned and operated unless otherwise stated.
Limitation of Liability
DisasterDesk is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, participation in training programs, or reliance on educational materials.
Training provided by DisasterDesk is educational in nature and does not replace professional medical advice, employer policies, medical direction, professional judgment, or applicable laws and regulations.
Assumption of Risk
Certain training courses may involve physical activity, simulated emergency scenarios, or hands-on skills practice. By participating, you acknowledge and accept any associated risks and agree to participate voluntarily.
Participants are responsible for informing instructors of any medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect participation.
Photo and Media Release
By attending a DisasterDesk course, event, or training session, you grant DisasterDesk permission to use photographs, video recordings, or other media captured during training for promotional, educational, marketing, and social media purposes without compensation.
Participants who do not wish to be photographed or recorded must notify the instructor prior to the start of class.
DisasterDesk will not publicly share sensitive personal information without consent.
Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our website or services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Website Use
You agree not to misuse our website or services, including but not limited to:
Attempting unauthorized access to systems or accounts
Disrupting website functionality
Using our content without permission
Providing false registration or payment information
All website content, branding, logos, graphics, documents, and materials are the property of DisasterDesk unless otherwise noted and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
Changes to Terms
DisasterDesk reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.
Agreement Acknowledgement
By completing registration, attending a class, or using DisasterDesk services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
