AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION DISCLAIMER

The American Heart Association (AHA) strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all
AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.

American Heart Association Training

At DisasterDesk, we are proud to serve as an authorized American Heart Association (AHA) Training Site. This designation allows us to deliver AHA-certified courses that follow the organization’s rigorous standards for emergency cardiovascular care training. As a result, our participants gain the confidence and skills they need to act during emergencies.

Although the AHA certifies our instructors and provides course materials, DisasterDesk independently manages all operational aspects, such as scheduling, registration, and logistics. This independence ensures we can offer flexible and accessible courses while staying fully aligned with AHA guidelines.

Using AHA Materials

To maintain consistency and quality, we exclusively use official AHA-approved resources, such as training manuals, eLearning components, and assessment tools. These materials ensure participants receive instruction that is both reliable and evidence-based. Furthermore, they provide the foundation for developing life-saving skills.

AHA Certification

Upon successfully completing one of our AHA courses, participants receive a certification directly issued by the American Heart Association. Not only are these certifications widely recognized, but they also meet national standards for emergency response training. Consequently, participants can confidently apply their skills in real-world situations. Verify your certificate on the AHA’s website located HERE.

Aligned with the AHA Mission

In addition to offering certified courses, we align closely with the AHA’s mission to reduce disability and death caused by cardiovascular disease and stroke. By empowering individuals with life-saving knowledge and skills, we contribute to building safer, more prepared communities.
